  •    This political cartoon is about the Spanish-American war. The Spanish-American war is that when Spain and America went to war, Sain lost and had to give America some of its territory. Also the territories included Arizona, New Mexico, and California. The issue is that different countries and taking control over other smaller territories. The cartoonist message is that many colonies have gotten crazy over new territory that they are taking control over many other places by using force. In this cartoon the cartoonist used  exaggerating. The world cannot possibly be that small and we cannot put the world in little bags to take home. There is also labeling in this cartoon. They are labeling the bags and also the earth.
